Google made some changes to how their software works in certain compute operating systems.  If you are running Safari on Mac OS 10.6.8 or lower, many of Google's services will not work properly or have limited functionality.  The solution to this would be to use an updated browser like Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.  If you are on a Windows computer, Internet Explorer running on Windows XP and higher would also work.  Please check out this Google support article for more information on this problem:
